Qualifications
In Australia, there are a few government mandated qualifications required to fly drones commercially. Below, they are listed, Josiah Patch is a fully CASA accredited drone pilot.
Accredited Operator
I am an Accredited RPA (Remote Piloted Aircraft) Operator. This means that i can legally fly drones in many places outside of my own private property for commercial use.
Fully Registered Flight
My DJI Air 3 Drone is registered under CASA (Civil Aviation Safety Authority) requirements for RPAs (Remote Piloted Aircrafts). This means I fly under CASA certification.
Compact Powerhouse
The DJI Air 3 is under 2kg and therefore qualifies to be in the CASA "Excluded RPA" category that does not require an RePL or an ReOC to be used commercially.
